MY STORY
Throughout my young adulthood, I have explored many different craft and art forms, most of which have come to me through working in the environmental education field. With my ADD brain, I couldn't just focus on one creative outlet. I started creating jewelry in 2016 when taught by a friend in Minnesota, I then added watercolor in as a way to record my personal adventures. I only ever painted for myself until 2020.

Pre-Covid, I daylighted as an environmental educator and spent my time teaching people about all these amazing things in our ecosystem. I was even able to create a local flora guide with watercolor illustrations as a project for the Keystone Science School. Once COVID hit, I was not able to teach anymore and created a new outlet through turning my watercolors into educational greeting cards because the learning should never stop.

As I began to paint nature objects more, I started to share my adventures around Colorado and surrounding areas through watercolors. What started as a gift for my partner became the basis of a new way to show my art off.

Eventually came the chickens when we bought our house in Dillon, Colorado. We have 5 awesome backyard chickens named Fanny (The Elder), Cricket (The Sweetheart), Pippin (The Chonker), Acorn Squash (The Leader), and Atilla the Hen (The Average Joe) . They bring me a lot of joy and laughter at home and I knew there would be people out there that could have a laugh as well through my illustrations.
